A Professor turned Women Entrepreneur, Mrs. Lakshmi Haritha Bhavani was inspired by her mother’s dedication towards ‘Organic Farming’ and ‘Healthy Food consumption’. Determined to implement ideas of her mother and to ensure the reach of healthy and chemical free food products to all sections of people, she co-founded the brand ANCIENT FOODS along with her mother. She has immense passion towards developing “Nutritious and Healthy” Millet based SMART FOODS and NEXT GENERATION SUPER FOODS. She holds an M.Tech Degree in Electronics and has worked as an Assistant Professor and as a CRM Manager & Consultant in a Solar based company for over 6 years before joining her mother’s dream.
Mrs. Lakshmi Haritha Bhavani is a certified Incubatee of the Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR), Hyderabad. Ancient Foods India is a Unit of Lakshmi Shaurya Pvt Ltd which is a DPIIT recognized start-up. She started her Market Research and Pilot Project in 2019. After understanding the gap for the right, healthy and preservative-free food in market she started the production of a wide variety of Ready to Cook & Ready to Eat food products. Ancient Foods began it’s operations from a small room to now a full fledged Semi-automated Manufacturing Unit at Chengicherla IDA Hyderabad with a Team of 10.
In this Journey, they have been supported by various organizations like MSME, KVIC, BYST, WomENvision, WeHub, WeAIM, IIMR etc. Their products have been displayed in various events and programmes like FitCop 2022 at Banjara Hills, SARAS Fair 2022 at People’s Plaza, Metro Bazar at the Metro Stations of Hyderabad, One Station One Product. Their products are soon going to be available on most of the Online platforms. She has been awarded with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s Execellence Awards 2022 by ACT NOW.
