Mrs. Umamaheshwari,B.Sc (Agriculture) Agriculture Officer (Retd)
Mrs. Umamaheshwari holds B.Sc Agriculture degree from ‘Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University’ and has worked for around 30 years for Department of Agriculture, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Throughout her service she strived for organic and natural farming and nudged few hundreds of farmers to shift to organic farming. She also encouraged farmers to take up less water intensive and more remunerative Millet based cultivation. Post retirement she co-founded the food start up “Ancient foods” along with her daughter with a mission to bring nutritious and healthy Millet based ‘SMART Foods” closer to the common man. All our products are prepared by our founder with her traditional Indian wisdom blended with her scientific rigour. Just like we say, with mother’s love!!!!
Mrs. Lakshmi Haritha Bhavani, M.Tech

A Professor turned women entrepreneur Mrs Lakshmi Haritha Bhavani was inspired by her mother’s dedication towards ‘Organic Farming’ and ‘Millet Consumption’. Determined to implement the ideas of her mother and ensure reach of her products to all sections of the people she co-founded Ancient Foods along with her. She has immense passion towards ‘Nutritious and Healthy’ Millet based “SMART FOODS” and “NEXT GENERATION SUPER FOODS”. She holds M.Tech in Electronics and worked as an Assistant Professor and a Solar Energy Professional for over 6 years before joining her mother’s dream.

The traditional saying is ‘There is a woman behind every successful man’. True, but here is a man who is behind the success of his wife and our MD Lakshmi Haritha Bhavani. He has been the prime motivation from the initial stages to help her execute ideas and see light. Mr Vishnu strategizes overall operations to ensure the growth of Ancient Foods. He is a master’s degree holder in Mechanical engineering from Sri Krishna Devaraya University with over 14 years of experience, in the Tunnelling industry. He has a strong focus on Business, Engineering and Technology and had worked on various metro projects in INDIA and overseas.
Raghavendar Rao Devargatla, MPG

Inspired by the dedication and determination of his mother and sister, Raghavendar Rao Devargatla helped Co-Found Ancient Foods. A Master in Governance and Public Policy, he has sound knowledge of Food Processing sector, Agriculture Supply Chain, Regulatory Interface, Public Administration, Government Compliance and Support. He looks after the funding, government interface and scaling up activities of our company. He is also a Public Policy Consultant, UPSC Faculty, Columnist and alumni of MIT School of Government, Pune and International Academy of Leadership, Germany.

Passion towards Food and Business, inspiration from the family, and the zeal to make it big in the food manufacturing industry drove her towards Ancient foods. She looks after the distribution, franchising, product design, sales and marketing focussing on overall business growth and expansion. A PGDM (Banking Services) holder from ‘Manipal University’, Bangalore and an Engineering graduate she has rich experience in working with leading private sector and public sector banks in India dealing with Retail Assets, Corporate Loans, Loan operations, Branch Banking and other Banking Services.
